Disney Cruises?

Has anyone been on the disney cruise? Is it any good. I will be taking my 5 and 4 year old girls with me. Will there be things for them to do that they will enjoy? I just got back from a Carnival Cruise and they had a kids club thing on it, and I have read Disney does too, I just want to be sure it will be something that they will do, before I spend all that money to book it.

Yes, they do…

Disney will definitely have activities for chilren your girls’ ages. They cater to families with children, and if you had a good time on Carnival, don’t expect any less from Disney.

Their program is called Oceaneer Club (for children 3 to 7) and incorporates Disney characters into the activities.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if I can help you book your vacation.

We went on a Disney Cruise with our 4 little ones in Sept. and we honestly can not say one single negative thing about it! It was so great! Our 4 and 8 year olds actually cried when we would try to get them out of the kids club!!! The people working on the ship were genuinely happy and loved what they do. Our other 2 younger ones went to Flounder’s Nursery a few times and there too, they had a blast!!! They are extremely safe on the ship with bracelets that don’t come off the entire trip. You can not get in or out of the kids club without them checking you out on the computer. You are also given a pager the entire trip in case they ever need to get a hold of you. The ship is absolutely spotless and they pay extra attention to handwashing. Everywhere you go, there are handsanitizer stations and when you bring the kids to their clubs, thats the 1st thing they make them do. There are so many activities, you can sit down with them ahead of time and decide what they want to do, and then drop them off. The nightly shows are worth the trip alone- they are absolutely magnificent!!! I think the best thing about the Disney Cruise though is the family atmosphere. We have been on other cruises without our children, and saw families, and it just was not the same as what we saw and did on Disney. You will not be disappointed, and you probably will never go on any other cruise after this one! We already booked our next one! Have a great trip!!! Oh by the way- we booked ours through Expedia.com and got a really cheap rate compared to other sites. I would definitely check around for deals.

I have been on 3 Disney Cruises and I have to say they are awesome! The service they provide is 10 times better then any other cruise line I have been on. There is constant entertainment for everyone too. The kids’ activities are so cool – sometimes I wanted to even go … haha. One day they were making "flubber", one day they were doing a princess dress up party and so the kids got to dress up and all the princesses came in. And that was just in the kid’s club – there is a pool with a water slide, the characters are always out and about. There are just tons of things going on.

I went with a friend who took their child and when we went to pick her up from the kid’s club she starting crying because she didn’t want to leave. We thought this was a good indication.

Have a great trip!

Since you are an experienced cruiser, I can tell you that the Disney cruise is not an adult cruise that accomodates children.

This is a children’s cruise that accomodates adults.

Everything is about the little one’s experience. They have an entire deck devoted to the children’s club. The dining rooms are decorated in Disney themes.

At your girl’s ages, they will LOVE the Disney cruise. Took my girls at ages 5 and 7 and they had a blast.

DIsney is the master at customer service. Ship was super clean and service personnel were exceptional and very patient with the little ones.

There is at least twice as much kid’s activities on a Disney Cruise. They will love it 100%!!

So will you as they have area’s only for adults so it’s even quieter and more relaxing at the adult only pool than any other cruise line.

So the kids are happy and your are happy, well worth the money I believe.

Also dine at the upscale resturant "Palo" for an unforgettable dining experience. Plus at only about a third of the price for similar upscale dining on Celebrity, RCCL, etc. Great deal, their Chocolate Mousse’ desert is the best desert in the world-awesome!

You should try my travel agent for the Best advice and Deals: barbara @kustomtravel.com

Their private island is twice as good for families – as any one elses, first class!!

Plus the ship is super clean and you see Disney characters all the time and it’s easy to get photos with them with your own camera.

I rate it a 9.0 especially if you like to relax too.

You can also go to the Disney website for more details of the kids program.

See my name, DISNEYCRAZEY! I am and I love the Disney Cruise Line! They are a perfect age for this. If you have ever been to a theme park for Disney it is not at all like that! Its not crammed, tiring, crowded, with mean people! The staff is very friendly and cool! The kids clubs are UNBELIEVABLE! They would be in the Oceaneer Club which is for ages 3 to 7. Unfortunately, your two daughters will not always be in the same place at one time because there is two groups, 3 to 4 and 5 to 7. If your little 4 year old is close to 5, you can ask if they can get put in the same group which will make taking them out of the club much easier. It is really safe too. For their ages, you get a pager and they could page you whenever if they want to be picked up. You can also check them out at anytime, but it can only be people you designate that can check them out. All the activities are really good with the counselers for the Club are great. You can go to http://www.dcljobs.com to see how qualified the staff is. They also have many age appropriate programs from Princess Storytelling to Pirate Training. They also take your kids to dinner up in the buffet. So the night when you go to Palo, they will be safe eating with the kids club.

One more thing, Have Fun! And also be assured that your kids are with trained supervisorsthat are hand picked by Disney!

I have been on Disney, and you will be totally spoiled after your trip. Disney does it like no other cruise line. Excellent answers from everyone so I do not have to repeat them. Talk to an experienced cruise agent. I receive e-mails daily from the cruise lines with awsome specials. You do not pay any extra from using the services of an agent, many times we save you money and actually care about your vacation.
