Do people actually have fun on Disney cruises?
I mean, of course everyone has fun in the disneyland experience kind of way…but do people actually let loose on the cruises? do you see that lady with a beer belly dancing half naked on the departure night? do families feel urged to do everything together, no activities individually? are disney cruises basically the same as other cruises (excluding some carnival cruises that are like spring breaks to miami) with the excpetion of their price and that wonderful disney magic touch (or do they not even have that effect?)?
oh and also, are there still the foreign stewardesses and bartenders? what about teen activities? are their supervisors relaxed like on other cruises or are they confined like their dressed as one of the characters?
Speaking from experience, the demographics that the cruise really aims for are the mothers and their daughters. Almost all of the characters that do appear are some form of Princesses. All the lines for autographs and photos are moms and daughters. Teens do have a cool place to go called the Stack. No parents allowed. The cruise does provide for younger kids with their kids clubs. Best place for dads and sons would be the little bar in the forward area – they have a WII and they have tennis and bowling tournaments. Then putting contests all around the room. But basically – Moms and Daughters rule on the cruise. Hope this helps.

You might see the beer belly lady,b ut disney is a classier cruise line than others. Their cruises are a blast, they have a great teen area, adult areas, and kid areas.
