Watching the travel channel’s special on disney cruises, they made a huge deal at the end on how they were going to introduce new itineraries in europe for 2009 and 2012…but disney’s website makes no mention of it. the only ones I found when I searched the web were itineraries from Bareclona this past summer….I thought this was going to be permanent! Anyone with better info??

The Travel Channel frequently exaggerates things when it reports and the fact is Disney currently has only two ships that sail mainly the Bahamas and Caribbean. So they do not have the resources (ships) to expand and do a lot of cruises like the bigger lines like Carnival and Royal Caribbean that have around 20 or more ships. Disney has ordered two new ships which will be delivered in 2010 and 2011 so I guess it way too early for them to start posting information about new itineraries.
